Katrina S. Short, 43, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home. Born in Little Rock, AR, Katrina worked as a RN/BSN in the nursing field for many years. She was a member of Sigma Theta Ti Fraternity. Katrina was a wonderful woman from the inside out. She was involved in mission trips in China. She never met anyone that did not become her friend. Katrina enjoyed golfing, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Mitch Short of Fort Wayne, parents, Doug and JoAnn Wallace of North Port, FL, children, Brian Clifford, Victoria Clifford, Danielle Short, and Mitchell Short Jr. all of Fort Wayne, siblings, Marty (Lisa) Wallace of FL, Paula (Kevin) Mayfield of MO, Karla (John) Barker of TX, Kevin (Michelle) Wallace of KY, Keith Wallace of IN, Doug (Stacy) Wallace of KY, grandchildren Breylen and Brennen Clifford, Carter, Mallory, and Stella Short. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road Wednesday, March 07, 2012 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
