Joycena A. Bennett, 19, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Joycena was a member of Holy Scripture Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping, adult coloring books, crafts, puzzles, TV, and loud music. She loved spending time with her friends and having the Bible read to her. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her grandmother, Sandy Bennett of Fort Wayne, step-mom, Shelly Bennett; step-dad, Ed Kimmel; close friend, April Rodriguez; nephew, Braxton; and niece, Braylei. Joycena was preceded in death by mother, Barbara Boggs; brother, Brandon Bennett; and grandfather, Donald Bennett. Service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Holy Scripture Lutheran Church, 8811 Kinnerk Rd with Pastor Nathanael Brenner officiating. Calling at Holy Scripture Lutheran Church, Saturday, January 13, 2018, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. Memorials may be made to Holy Scripture Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse Hospice Care.
